It was the year of 2017 and Samsung introduced Android Flip phone with the name of Galaxy Folder 2. Powered with Snapdragon 425 the phone had 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory.
Now it is 2025 and Samsung has S25 series in portfolio. It is also powered by Snapdragon processor, though not the same one. RAM and Internal Memories have also gained drastically. 12 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory onwards.
The key point is not the feature comparison, but the point here to note is that Samsung has always tried to innovate. They always maintain a phone category that market has not seen. In the world of people loving iPhone, Samsung dares to get a product which focusses on foldable screen.
Apple since years is launching a new phone every year. The consistent improvement what I have notes with Apple is the processor and the camera placement. I personally feel the same experience on 17 pro max as what I had with my XR.
What Apple should Learn
We are the generation who were crazy for the BBM and then ditched the app so easily that even after BBM was available for free on Android and iOS, still nobody wanted to get the app. Apple should not forget the Blackberry history. Unless they come with innovation / improved products, risk of becoming the second Blackberry will always persist.
