If your Amazon Echo show 8 is giving issue while turning on, you can perform the below troubleshooting steps.
1) Check the night mode or the brightness level
This is a basic check, which you might never think of. Sometimes, the dimming level is low or the night mode is set and because of the surrounding light, the device appears to be off.
2) Check the power Source
Replace the power source and check if that solves your problem. If not, you can try the next step.
3) Perform Hard Reset
As the device is not turning on, so the soft reset will not be a good option. You need to perform the hard reset.
- Press & Hold Mute button along with Volume Down button.
- Wait for 5-10 seconds.
- Release the buttons if the screen turns on.
If all the above steps are not working for you, then probably, you need to contact the service department. It seems to be a hardware fault.
