Samsung has just updated their official website with the details of an interesting event scheduled for 21st October. This will feature Samsung’s latest step towards innovation with the new Virtual Reality Headset. Interestingly, it also is offering 100$ credit when you sign up for the event.

This is formal launch of a devlopment project (codename – Moohan).

What to Expect

The Samsung has been showcasing its Headset in multiple events but the feature list is never officially announced. Rumours suggest that it will be powered by Snapdragon XR2 Gen2 architecture. This processor is famous for the exceptional display control. So you should expect extremely high resoution display (May be 4K or 8K) with some great sensors to track eye movement.

Samsung offers 100$ credit for 21 october event

As soon as you register for the event, you will become eligible to get 100$ credit, which you should receive over the email. This will allow you to purchase the eligible products. Though it is not confirmed what all products will be eligible for the purchase, still better you enroll for the credit. Website claims that product list will be available on 21st October.

Now Brief was one of the feature that made me get into Samsung ecosystem. I have been iPhone user since years and was keeping Pixel as second option. Now brief was expected to give me at a glance notification for every important update.

Samsung projject Now brief as a game changer innovation that will give key updates to the user at necessary times. From morning Alarm notification to summary of the All Day events everything was expected to be innovatively presented that would be impactful.

But now i see there is nothing except I see nothing on the Now Brief Widget on screen. It just gives one statement like “Morning Brief”, “Evening Brief” and expects me to click on the widget. When I click that I see weather notification, Less information Samsung news widget and Link to Youtube Videos that I am not at all interested about.

May be right now it is too early for Now Brief to be amazing. Just Like when Google Maps was new and it never gave the correct estimation of arrival. But now you see it is one of the app that we all rely the most. Atleast I am one of the few who believe the Samsung Now Bar can be integral part of the Samsung Ecosystem.
