How to pay off American express credit card payments
Method 1 : Payoff using debit card
- First of all Log in to your existing Online Account details or set up an Online Account.
- Now go to ‘Payments’ in the navigation and select ‘Direct Debit’.
- Give your bank account/building society details & confirm your Direct Debit payment options.
- Now Confirm the Card you want to pay your monthly bill on.
- Enter your card security details and make the payment.
- That is it.
Method 2 : Payoff using Amex App
- Download the Amex App & login to with your user credentials.
- Now Select ‘Account’ -> ‘Direct Debit’ -> ‘Set up Direct Debit’.
- Select and confirm your payment option.
- Complete your bank account/building society details.
- Review and confirm your details.
- Now go to your transactions page and select “Make Payment.“
- Review and confirm your details. Enter your card security details. You may be prompted for a card security check.
Method 3 : Payoff using internet banking
To pay using net banking, you can send the money using the following details.
For Personal Cardmembers
- Account name: American Express Services Europe Limited
- Sort code: 30-00-00
- Account number: 00200476
- Use your 15 digit American Express Card number as the reference.
Your Faster Payment or BACS payment will update your balance as soon as it has been received.
For Individually Billed / Paid Corporate Cardmembers / Personal Cardmember CHAPS

- Account number: 00888082
- Lloyds Bank PLC, City Office
- Use your 15 digit American Express Card number as the reference.
For international users through international payment
If you would like to pay from an international bank account, please use the following details:

Method 4 – Pay off by Paying at your bank
Take the completed bank giro slip from your statement, along with payment, to your bank. If you are making a payment by cheque, please write your 15 digit American Express Card number on the back of the cheque.
